Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey, Kumarakom, Cochin
Day 1
Arrive at Cochin International Airport/ Railway Station, meet and greet by your Le Tourister local representative and drive to Munnar (4Hours/135km). En route visit Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Check in to your Hotel upon arrival in Munnar and the rest of the day is free for you to relax. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2
After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park, famous for its endangered inhabitant - the Nilgiri Tahr and is home to several species of rare butterflies, birds and animals. Then visit the Top Station, which offers a magnificent view of the tea plantations and also the rolling hills caressed by blankets of mists. Later, proceed to Mattupetty dam, situated at a height of 1700 meters above sea level, known for its masonry dam and the beautiful lake which offers boat rides, and enjoy the surrounding green-carpeted hills. Evening drive back to hotel for Overnight stay.
Day 3
After breakfast, check out and drive to Thekkady. En route visit Chinnakanal, Anayirangal Dam, Lockhart Gap and Shooting point. Check in to your Hotel upon arrival at Thekkady. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 4
Today early morning you have the option to go for trekking and elephant safari. After breakfast at Hotel, we take you to visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary consisting of the National park and the Tiger reserve, and the Spice Plantations. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 5
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Alleppey- Known as the ‘Venice of the East’. Check in to your Houseboat upon arrival in Alleppey and start an unforgettable cruising on the scenic backwaters of Kerala and also enjoy the local cuisine on board. Overnight on board houseboat.
Day 6
After breakfast, check out of the Houseboat and drive to Kumarakom. Check in to the Hotel upon arrival and proceed for sightseeing tour. Visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary-the favourite haut of migratory birds. Take a boat ride to Pathiramanal Island, is also a home to variety of Migratory Birds. Evening return to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 7
After breakfast, check out of the Hotel and drive to Cochin. Proceed for a city tour of Cochin visiting The Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, St. Francis church and Chinese Fishing Nets. Later, transfer to airport/railway station to return home.
